FJVC Offering Additional Travel Team Tryouts
(Posted September 17, 2015)
Additional Tryouts for 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s, 16s, and 17s. Following our latest round of tryouts, there were not enough players to form additional teams. We recognized that there is still a desire for some to continue playing. To help cultivate that desire, and to continue to create a safe, positive, and effective learning environment, FJVC is asking everyone to send out this message. We are still looking to form more travel teams.
FJVC will be hosting additional tryouts on October 4th.
U15 - U17 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
U12 - U14 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (in addition to tryouts on Sept. 20th)
If you are looking for a team, we have players looking to form a team. We need everyone interested to show up. Please check out the flyer to see the costs and associated tournaments along with included attire. Should you have further questions, please contact Juan Torres (torresjp@fjvcva.org).

Travel Teams
When: September - June
Each player's club volleyball experience differs, but club volleyball can help meet several goals:
-
To improve skill level and experience
-
To earn playing time in high school or to challenge starters
-
To compete at a higher level than is typically available in high school
-
To gain exposure to college coaches and programs
-
To meet new friends and play with athletes whose goals are similar to your own
-
To improve physical fitness level
-
To gain intangible benefits such as self-esteem, confidence, and life skills
For the majority of athletes, playing club volleyball is a great way to improve skills, meet new friends, and have fun, all while participating in very competitive volleyball.
FJVC is committed to provide the best coaches in the area to help the athletes achieve all of their goals. Our coaching staff is made up of high school coaches, current and former college players and college coaches.
See our 'TRAVEL TEAMS' tab for team information.
