FJVC 2023 SPRING YOUTH REC LEAGUE

Practice/Play location: 3411 Shannon Park Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408​

Players will learn basic skills and the rules of the game using drill work as they gain knowledge of the court. The goal of the Rec League is to learn new skills, improve your current skills, and enjoy participating in the sport of volleyball.  League teams will have 1 practice per week and will play matches on Saturdays and will be coached by either a coach or parent volunteer.  Parent Volunteer head coaches will receive a discount on the fees. 

 

Practices will be on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday depending on the number of teams that are formed, and will start at 6:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.  Matches will be played on Saturdays starting at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m, or 1:00 p.m.   Team assignments will be made once registration closes and players will be notified of practices day/time by the coach.  Practices will start the week of April 17th and the final tournament will be on June 8th.

**Special requests will only be considered prior to the registration deadline.  In addition, once registration is closed, additional players will not be added to the league.**

Equipment - knee pads, sneakers (no flip flops, sandals, or crocks) water bottle

*Refund Policy: No refunds for cancellations unless FJCV cancels the program. Refunds will not be given if a player chooses not to participate for any reason after registering.
